8/13/2010 - A judge in California ordered monetary sanctions in the amount of $900 against Glenn Hagele for failure to answer a Request for Admissions in a civil lawsuit. The judge granted the opposing side's motion to compel Hagele to answer.

Patrick J. Mobley was hired by Glenn Hagele to perform illegal surveillance of LASIK patients, perform burglaries, steal bank account information, hack computers, and steal e-mails.  Read Patrick Mobley's criminal record

On 9 March 2010, a judge in North Carolina ordered documents containing email communications between Glenn Hagele and convicted felon, Patrick Mobley, to be unsealed. On 2 June 2010, a judge in California denied Hagele's request to seal the documents.

Jon Sasser, Glenn Hagele's attorney in North Carolina, withdrew as counsel after the court ordered Hagele to turn over emails between Hagele and Patrick Mobley. Read motion

Glenn Hagele stated in an email that he provided Patrick Mobley the name, date of birth, and social security number of nine individuals. Read email

It also appears that Glenn Hagele hired Patrick Mobley to investigate doctors as well as patients who filed complaints against doctors. Link to document. As stated, judges in two states have ruled that these emails are not confidential work product as Hagele claimed.

On 5 February 2010, a judge dismissed a frivilous SLAPP lawsuit brought in North Carolina by CRSQA against injured LASIK patients. The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice, which means that CRSQA can never again refile this lawsuit in an effort to intimidate and silence LASIK patients. On 21 January 2010, Glenn Hagele filed a document stating that a California court determined him in forma pauperis.

in forma pauperis (in form-ah paw-purr-iss) adj. or adj. Latin for "in the form of a pauper," referring to a party to a lawsuit who gets filing fees waived by filing a declaration of lack of funds (has no money to pay). These declarations are most often found in divorces by young marrieds, or poor defendants who have been sued. Source

Glenn Hagele published personal identification information of a damaged female LASIK patient on his website. The patient filed a criminal complaint of harassment against Glenn Hagele for publishing her personal identification information. See Fla Statute 817.568.
